APPLES TO ORANGES
When we compare and compete with others, we can feel that we are less than. Less intelligent. Less attractive. Less successful. Less lovable. Less valuable.
Comparing yourself to others in your appearance, your accomplishments, your home, or your family can cause a sense of never being satisfied and lead to anxiety, depression and self hate. Or it can cause pride, legalism and a judgmental attitude.
Learn to discern how comparison may be the death of joy in your life, and how to reverse the process for a life filled with satisfaction and contentment.
Feelings of inferiority can keep us from accomplishing things which are well within our capabilities.
In 2 Corinthians 10:12 the Apostle Paul says this: “For we dare not class ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves. But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

I will share with you some of the lessons I have learned through both trials and blessings in my life.
Once you learn to stop comparing and competing, you will start living out your own unique purpose.
